Robinia Invest introduces monthly payments for investors 

Until now, it has been virtually impossible to invest in commercial forestry by way of monthly payments. This is because many costs have to be made at the start of any forestry investment.

Those costs include:

  • Buying of land
  • Buying and planting of trees
  • Construction a fence and irrigation on the site

Robinia Invest has thought of a way where paying in monthly rates is possible. In essence we split the costs of setting up the forestry plot and the management of that plot in two pieces. The set up of the forestry plot is paid by one investor, the management of the trees and the proceeds of the timber goes to another investor. The owner of the forestry plot, the Landlord, receives a monthly payment for offering his forestry plot to the Tenant.

If you are an investor who wants to invest in forestry but lack the financial means to pay with a lump sum, then you become the tenant of the landlord. You only have to pay a monthly (or yearly) payment to Robinia Invest and 4 yearly rates for the maintenance. Robinia Invest will pay the landlord the monthly rent on behalf of the tenant.

Monthly payments:

  • 1 Hectare: € 280  for first 60 months,  € 150  for the last 60 months
  • ½ Hectare: € 150  for first 60 months,  € 75 for the last 60 months
NB: 2% inflation correction calculated into monthly payments

Maintenance costs: Rates paid on May 1st and September 1st of first 4 years

  • 1 Hectare: 8 rates of € 875
  • ½ Hectare: 8 rates of € 440
