European forestry
With Robinia Invest you have the opportunity to invest in environmentally friendly Robinia and Paulownia plantations. With this type of forestry investment you are doing more than helping put an end to global deforestation. You are also putting yourself in a position to receive a high return on your money, with added securities to ensure the safety of your investment. A big environmental benefit is that your investment in plantation timber reduces your carbon footprint significantly. One hectare with Robinia binds about 15 tons of CO2 per year. One hectare with Paulownia binds about 100 tons per year. A normal household emits about 9 tons of CO2 per year.
Your plot is laid out in a sustainable manner on agricultural land. All your trees can be certified. Certification will enable us to sell the hardwood (on your behalf) for the highest price and in bigger quantities.
From € 7,000 (incl. optional average management fee) you can get involved with your own Robinia or Paulownia Investment. Your return will be based on the sale of timber, poles and biomass (renewable energy). You have the choice between three different investment models, depending on your personal preference:
- You buy the land (freehold): Here you will become the legal owner of your plot and trees
- You lease the land through Hutchinson Trustees: Here you will become the legal owner of your trees
- You sublease the land from us directly. It's our cheapest investment, with the highest returns.
You buy the land:
- Possible from € 40,000, but please inform with us what plot sizes we have available
- You become legal owner of the land and can profit from any increase in value of the land
- You gain from the profit of the sale of the timber and land
- You need to go to the German Embassy or consulate to sign for the land (or travel to Berlin)
You lease the land:
- Possible from € 11,000
- You lease the land and become owner of the trees on your plot
- Title Trustees International (Hutchinson Trustees) will be registered into the German Land Register as a security, so that your trees are protected until they can be harvested
You Sublease the Land:
- Possible from € 7,000
- You sublease the land from us and become the owner of the trees on your plot

Your timber will be located near Berlin in Germany, only a two hour flight away from London. Germany offers a good market for timber products and has an excellent infrastructure to transport the timber to other countries, where there is also a high demand for hardwood.
