I would like to introduce myself.

My name is Wouter Bakker and I am the director of Robinia Invest GmbH. 

I have worked in the financial world for some 15 years now. I got my start selling stock packages and later moved on to selling Teak Investments, insurance and from 2003, Robinia Investments. I decided to work with forestry investments as I saw first hand what the effects were of 9/11 and the crash of the stock markets there after. A lot of people lost a lot of money when they invested in the stock market and I saw that people wanted a more stable and reliable investment. Now that people are also becoming more aware of the environment, forestry investments is the right way to go forward.

What I want to do through this weblog is to inform you about some of the aspects of forestry and what our company does.
